Let us do the cheese for your next holiday, event, party, wedding or happy hour! Our large cheeseboards are not available for online purchase as each order is custom; it’s best to call the shop and we’ll help you pick the right solution for your event.

While our Tasting Room is currently open on Fridays and Saturdays, we are at the shop almost every day making cheese & taking care of it; feel free to call anytime to place your order. If no one answers, please leave a message and we will return your call. And yes - we are often able to take catering orders for pickup during the week; feel free to reach out if you have an order for a weekday and we’ll do our best to make it happen. Please also note that we cannot accept orders via email. Thank you!

Catering Menu Options

Cheese and charcuteries boards include fruit, jams, pickled items and nuts and will vary based upon seasonal availability. Boards can be customized based upon preferences and specific requests; more expensive products will result in additional costs. Please let us know if you have allergies or aversions to specific foods.

  • Boards are priced for pick up at Urban Stead Cheese, 3036 Woodburn Avenue. Boards can be picked up during normal business hours unless previous arrangements have been discussed. Please note that boards should be served within 24-36 hours of pickup to ensure freshness and quality.

  • It is recommended that orders should be placed at least 72 hours in advance; however, please do not hesitate to reach out to see if we are able to accommodate shorter notice. Please note that there will be times our schedule fills up and we’re not able to accept orders; if you have a large order, we highly recommend reaching out as soon as possible to ensure that we can reserve that date for you. Please also note that ordering deadlines may differ during the holiday season; please refer to our social media for holiday board ordering deadlines.

  • $100 refundable deposit for use of our wood cheese boards as well as a $25 refundable deposit for use of our ceramic containers for jams, mustards & other accompaniments. Boards and trays must be returned in 5 days for release of deposit, no exceptions. We also have a great selection of boards available for purchase.

  • Board Care: Please do not put our boards in a dishwasher; it is best to lightly wipe off with soap and water; we’ll take care of the rest for you.

  • You may choose to provide your own board if you choose to not use ours; no additional fee or deposit required. Boards must be brought in at least 24 hours in advance of pick-up. Please consider size of the board relative to the order; our team will help you evaluate whether the board is the appropriate size to accommodate the order.

  • Black catering (reusable) plastic trays (that include a lid) are also an alternative. These do not need to be returned and have a cost of $5 each.

  • Bread and/or crackers are not included on the board, but we have a fantastic variety available for purchase; costs vary based upon selection.

  • A 10% Board Artist Gratuity Fee will be added to each order.

  • Looking for a board of a different size, or maybe a charcuterie only board? Not to worry; give us a call and we can help customize your order.

  • Retail wine and beer are also available to help provide you with a one-stop-shop experience; let our in-house Sommeliers help you pick the perfect bottle or put together a great mixed case of wine for your event or party (10% discount on case purchases - feel free to mix & match). We’re also happy to help you find a special bottle that we don’t carry - let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll see what we can do!
